What are the odds of buying a jackpot-winning lottery ticket? Well, that’s where the math gets scary. The odds of someone choosing the winning combination of numbers are 1 in 195,249,054. Yes, you read that right – just 1 in almost 200 million. To put that in some numerical perspective, the United States currently has a population of 307 million people, so you’re theoretically competing against 2/3 of the entire U.S. population. Those are serious odds stacked against you every time you spend $1 for a lottery ticket!

I won 4 out of 5 day before yesterday for the first time.  Ive picked 3 several times. but this was a fluke, I was driving to the line (MO, I live in ARkansas) just after going to the dentist, and was think about my dad alot, he use to buy me an ice cream after I went to the dentist. I was looking at my pick 4 work out and his birthday popped out at me.  So I added his birthday to the Show-me 5 ticket I only had 3 picks on, from my lotto logic program ( not lottery logics ) That seems the only times I win, seeing a number a couple of times in a day, then playing it.
Combinations Analysis for Pick 3 and Pick 4 Insanely powerful Pick 3 and Pick 4 combinations tool allows you to analyze any grouping of games across any time period, and reports by combination the number of times drawn, the mathematically expected number of times it should be drawn, last draw date, number of drawings since it was last drawn, along with flagging for late and very late combinations. You specify either straight or box combination analysis, and you can even specify exactly which sets of combination types (singles/non-repeating, doubles, triples, etc.) you want to include. The final report can be sorted on any metric.
If I were to ask an accredited mathematician "how do I win the lottery?" the answer would be that the numbers I choose wouldn't really matter much, it's simply a matter of defying the high odds that are stacked against me. According to the laws of probability all the numbers have exactly the same chance of being drawn. However, as we've seen, there are ways of reducing these odds. Probability also dictates that these odds will drop even further the more you play. If you play for a given week then you have just one chance to win against high odds - but if you play every week, the overall lottery odds don't change but the chances of you beating them does. Hence the reason you hear so many stories in the news about winners who played the lottery for years before finally hitting the jackpot.
Choose a very low number. The number should be between 1 and 5. For instance, the number 1 is a good number to choose because often, more than 60% of the time, the number 1 is part of the winning delta numbers included in the series. However, feel free to choose another low number that you feel good about such as 3 or 5 There is no exact science. Example: 1
